L’Oso Campsite in Porto-Vecchio: 2023 rates

Terms and conditions subject to change depending on the status of the pandemic

Scope of the ToS:
These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all rentals with l'Oso Campsite, and are an integral part of any contract signed between the campsite and its guests. All guests acknowledge that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of themselves and any others staying with them.
 
Booking conditions:
All prices are indicated in euros and include VAT. Tourist tax is NOT included in the prices shown.
Only the Rental Contract, duly completed and signed, serves as the contractual document. The surnames, first names and ages of all participants must be provided. All bookings are nominative and cannot be transferred or sublet. A booking becomes effective only after our approval, once the guest has signed the Rental Contract, paid a deposit equivalent to 30% of the cost stay and paid the booking fee of €10.
 
Balance due:
The balance must be paid 30 days before arrival. For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival, payment in full may be requested upon signature of the Reservation Contract. Tourist tax and additional services must be paid NO LATER than the day of arrival.
 
Withdrawal:
The legal provisions relating to the right to withdrawal for remote sales do not apply to tourist services (article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code).
 
Security deposit:
A security deposit is required for all rentals (€450 for CLUB and MOREA Chalets and €500 for BAMBÙ Chalet - CASA and ALTANA Mobile Homes) to cover any damage and cleaning fees incurred if the guest fails to comply with the rental terms. Any broken or damaged items will be billed. In the event of damage exceeding the amount of the deposit, reimbursement will be requested from the guest based on an invoice or estimate.
 
Inventory:
An inventory is taken before guests arrive. Guests are therefore requested to report any anomalies within 24 hours of arrival. After this deadline, no dispute will be considered.
 
Check-in and check-out:
Check-ins are from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM. If you’re arriving late, please notify the reception so we can arrange your welcome. Check-outs are before 10:00 AM. Please make an appointment with the reception at least 48 hours before departure to carry out the inventory. For early departures (before 7:00 AM), the inventory will be carried out the evening before (by appointment). Any departure after 10:00 AM will result in the billing of an additional night. 
Pets:
Pets are strictly prohibited in the rentals.
 
Parking and traffic:
The campsite is equipped with an electric gate and automatic barrier. One badge per rental will be issued upon arrival with the key. If you lose the badge, you will be charged €60. All rentals include parking for ONE vehicle.  The speed limit in the campsite is 10 kph. The campsite reserves the right to refuse entry to any non-compliant vehicle. Visitors’ vehicles (which must be registered at reception) are not allowed in the campsite, and must park in the visitors lot. The campsite is closed to traffic between 10:30 pm and 7 am. From 10:30 pm, residents must park in the parking lot at the entrance (visitors parking lot).
 
Swimming pool:
The swimming pool is open between 8 am and 8 pm. The pool is NOT supervised. Safety and hygiene rules must be followed: shower required, no smoking, no run, no food.
 
Special conditions:
Any stay begun is due in full. Late arrivals, early departures and early morning departures are not eligible for discounts.
Accommodations have a strict capacity which cannot be exceeded. Camping are not allowed next to rentals.
Fires are strictly PROHIBITED.
To ensure a pleasant stay for all, campers and renters alike, we ask you to show some respect for each other (noise, traffic and speed, garbage cans and recycling (at the campsite entrance), damage, etc.). Management reserves the right to remove any person, without refund, in the event of non-compliance with these basic rules of good conduct.
 
Insurance and liability:
Guests must have civil liability insurance. The campsite’s responsibility cannot be engaged in case of injuries, loss, theft or degradation of personal belongings in the accommodations, common areas (including the pool surroundings), parking or other dependencies. The management also declines all responsibility in case of fire, bad weather and in case of an incident falling under the client’s civil liability. 
 
Disputes:
Any complaint concerning non-compliance of the services provided with contractual obligations must be written (registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt) to l'Oso Campsite within a 30 days of departure.
 
Pandemic status:
L'Oso Campsite complies with public health regulations. In the event of cancellation due to the pandemic: if an event directly related to the pandemic at the time of your stay results in cancellation, we will cancel your booking free of charge and reimburse the amount paid under the following circumstances: lockdown, travel ban for the guest, transport interruption, closed air and sea space, closed borders, administrative closure of the campsite.
